My Earthquake Experience - by Ariana

I was working at my desk but suddenly I heard something was shaking but I knew what it was. It was an earthquake. But then the fire alarm went off. I could not move so I pushed my chair out and I went under my desk. It stopped and I looked to see if it did stop and it did.  I got out from under my desk and I kept on working but the ball rang and we got to go home. We told our Mum’s and dad’s.

Jaspers weekend away with Nate

On friday I asked the teacher if I could take Jasper home and she said that I was allowed to. First we went to indoor soccer.I won big time.We then went to Mcdonalds and Jasper stole my coke.I felt ripped off,at least I had my Megamind toy. We had a great deal of fun at the Esplanade. It was fun with Jasper. I did not want it to end.

Measure Hunt!

At the moment, we are learning how to measure lengths (using millimetres, centimetres and metres). Today we used metre rulers to measure things in the playground. Check out the video!

Our Wonderings about Disasters

Today we talked about different natural disasters. We each picked a natural disaster and came up with questions on what we wanted to learn about the disaster.  Lots of people in the class wanted to learn more about tornadoes and hurricanes.  Check out the websites on the side of our blog for some interesting information on tornadoes and hurricanes!

Miss Lambert leaves us!

We have had a college teacher in our class for the last four weeks. Her name is Miss Lambert and we have had lots of fun with her.  It was sad to see her go on Friday.
