Jamey's Weekend with Jasper

On Saturday morning I went to play soccer at Opiki.  When I got there I remembered that I forgot to bring Jasper the giraffe. So the giraffe had to stay at home with mum and Dylan my brother.

My Fun Day with Jasper! By Kai

On Friday the 10th of June I took Jasper home for the weekend. I played Xbox and my sister helped Jasper with the remote control so he could play. We played Pirates Of The Caribbean and we completed the level. Afterwards we played scalextric. Jasper came first I could not believe it . Afterwards Jasper had his nap. Then he rang his parents in Africa.

Survival Kit Movie

Check out our movie that we made together. We made this movie as a final part of our inquiry unit, "walking in my shoes". After learning all about disasters and the effects they have on people, we decided to take action and think of ways to help people in Ashhurst to get prepared for a disaster. Zero Waste

Today during our Zero Waste lesson, we talked about the natural resources that we use to make things. For example, oil is the natural resource that we use to make plastic. We did a matching group activity about natural resources today.

Goodbye Dorian

Today was a sad day in our class. Dorian had his last day at Ashhurst School. Because it was Dorian's last day, we had a fun time icing biscuits with him.  We will miss you Dorian!

Wacky Hair and P.J Day!

Thursday was a fun day this week, because we were allowed to wear our Pajamas to school and we could make our hair wild and wacky!

Grasshoppers Tennis Tournament

Last week, we had our Grasshoppers Tennis Tournament

Congratulations to Hamish, who was our class tennis champion!
