We have just begun to learn about maps and directions.

Here is a list of what we already know about maps:

  • They lead you to where you want to go (Jasmine)
  • They are a square (Kai)
  • Maps can lead you to treasure (Roisin)
  • They make you learn (moneck)
  • They tell you where places are (Taine)
  • They are helpful (Shannon)
  • If you want to travel across to the other side of the world it shows you where you need to go (Lizzie)
  • We need to learn how to read maps so we know where to go (Mrs Chappell)
  • They lead you to lots of other places (Tayla)
  • You can buy them at information stores (Nate)
  • They are useful (Rinaldo)

This is what we want to learn and do:
  • How do you find maps and how do you know which way round the map goes? (Roisin)
  • If you go somewhere else and you get a map in a different language, how do you know what map to get? (Nate)
